• Location Data: Your GPS coordinates while the app is in use, used to show you on the map and find nearby users.
• Usage Data: Connection requests, coin transactions, and app interaction patterns.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Display your presence on the live map to nearby users.
• Facilitate connection requests and profile sharing between users.
• Process coin purchases and maintain your account balance.
• Send password reset codes and account-related notifications.

3. Information Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your social links and payment info are only visible to users you've accepted a connection with. Anonymous users are never identified — they only contribute to location body counts.

4. Location Privacy

Your location is only shared while the app is actively in use. When you go offline or close the app, your location is no longer broadcast. Anonymous mode lets you contribute to location activity without revealing your identity.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from Settings, which permanently removes all your data including connections, blocks, transactions, and presence records.

6. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. We never store plaintext passwords.

7. Your Rights

• Access your personal data from your profile screen.
• Delete your account and all associated data from Settings.
• Control your visibility (Public, Friends Only, or Anonymous).
• Block users who you don't want to interact with.

8. Children's Privacy

LinkCard is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll notify users of material changes through the app.
